Default Vortex and their "VIP Warranty"

A few years ago when I started hunting and needed a range finder. I decided not to go cheap and spent around $500 on a Vortex Ranger 1000. It was an awesome little rangefinder and out performed my friends "Bushnells and Nikons". Over the last month I've noticed it having a tougher time ranging dark targets and shorter distances for archery (basically less then 100 yards). Some times it was accurate and sometimes it was off by a few yards. Dark targets were the worst.

I decided to send it in to get it checked out and possibly recalibrated. The Rangefinder showed up at Vortex last week. Today a brand new, in the box, Ranger 1300 arrived and they even included my old bungee I used to attach it to my bino harness and 2 spare batteries.

First class service. I am very impressed. This type of service/support keeps customers for life. Well done Vortex.
