and the start of the Ice season my 14 inch perch Took measurements for a possible replica. He was very good eating.
Because of this pic I just noticed how mangled my pinky's realy are LOL.

My hands make this fish look small, the photo of him in the sink gives the real picture he's 35 cm long with 24.5 cm girth, about 1.5 lbs.

good eating

Smallest perch in the sink is 9.5 inch's.

Default Oh ya

Thanks Pack. We are on for a beer for sure, we just gotta get that book off the shelf . Maybe an Ice trip

Oh ya I should make mention. This is the best walleye I have ever caught. 29 and 3/4 inches. Just shy of the sacred 30 mark . Don't matter it was a pleasure to catch . I'm sure she'd have batted in the 10lb range she had hog girth. She was just off shore, caught on a pickerel rig (with no bait ), only a 30 second battle tops. Took a quik length and let her go even though I could have kept her for the table or the wall, a good one for the C&R boys/girls out there. Wish I didn't get her dirty taking the length, or took the pic of the clean side. That would have been thinking but things are a little rushed when a fish like that is out of water. I'm hoping to catch that lunker this year and have a replica of me first 30inch eye, here's to dreaming .

They're not all river eye's
