Default Buy and sell

I just bought a rifle from a fellow A.O. member. When I try to give him a rating it just comes back with this statement. "There was an error in your deal details!". Any one know what I am doing wrong?
Everything is filled in and I have never given him any feedback yet.

Add comments to the additional private section. It does it to me as well. Has for years. You would think they could fix it.

I get that message aswell. The only way I can leave feedback is if I leave a link to the item for sale.... which sucks because it's often deleted before everybody is leaving final feedback.

I just had the same problem. I just copied the short comments and pasted it into the big block for comments and it worked.

I found that the same thing happened to me when I tried to do it with my tablet or smartphone, but not my laptop. Might be something with mobile devices?

Thanks for the info. Cut and pasted on my smartphone and it worked.

I've had the same problem three times now. I guess people just want their privacy.

Nothing to do with privacy. You have to leave the public comment and something in the private comments as well or it often won't work. Doesn't happen every time so I don't know what the actual cause is but the fix is definitely adding comments to the private section.
