Default Long lake by Boyle ice conditions?

My buddy and I are looking to take the kids out to the lake for family day. Has anybody been there lately? Will I be able to drive on or is there too much flood ice? If so where is the best access, by the narrows or public boat launch?

My buddy that lives across the street from me has a cabin out there , and lots of snow . Quad or snowmobile suggested in getting around .

not accessable by truck , foot or snowmobile only, recent snowfall really piled up out there
