Default Andrew Lake

Off to Andrew Lake this Friday. Taking my father up for his 70th birthday.
It will be my first trip up there but had the good fortune to be put in contact with a fine gentleman who used to work and guide up there. He gave me some great info and advice. Very excited to try and hook up with some big pike and lake trout.
Has anyone else been up there in September? Experiences to share?

We fly Saturday with Dan to our moose hunting lake, not far from Andrew. The lakers will be near the surface, as they will be in spawning mode. Pike will be cruising the weed beds, and expect to catch some big ones! We find the pike up there to be some of the finest eating fish that you will ever find. Check out Pike Alley on Andrew. I only use Mepps Syclops in the rainbow pattern, large.

Never been to Andrew Lake but we just returned from our first trip with Dan to Bocquene Lake and we ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! First class operation and great camp and fishing. I'm sure it will be a memorable trip, enjoy! Story and pictures to follow soon.
