Default Outdoor Security Camera

Looking for input or advice on an outdoor security camera, needs to work well at night and have good distance as it will be mounted on the fourth floor of a condo viewing a parking lot, Zoom and panning would be nice. Some I have looked at are only 60' to 100' max at night.

I can't help you at all other than I was in Costco yesterday and they had several different setups for what seemed to be a good price.

Check Lorex everything is on sale with free shipping, I bought a 4 camera setup last month I'm very happy with. They have good selection of cameras with pan and tilt.

I picked up a Swann system from Best Buy that is 1080 HD and works extremely well in the day and night. Easy to install and setup, also can have it on your smart phone to view too.

Not sure what your budget is but with security cameras you really get what you pay for,

https://kintronics.com/solutions/ip-...ir-ip-cameras/

Pretty awesome cam

But for what you want expect to pay a grand or more for the range,

Otherwise set you self up with a good ir iluminator and point it to your parking stall/spot combined with a decent cam you might get what your looking for, only issue with this method is you will lose the great visibility when you start to pan and track.

Thanks guys, that gives me some options to explore. The technology is getting pretty affordable. I will check it out. Dogfish
