Default anyone watching the documentary on the canadian wilderness?

the wolves catch the fish, kill it, let other animals eat the meat, then return to eat the skin because the meat gives the wolves parasites. Stunning footage.

I watched the first show last week on "The Nature of Things" because Brian Bildson from the trapping section was involved in taking a lot of the wildlife footage for the 6 part series. Unfortunately, David Suzuki narrates it and I simply couldn't stomach watching the second program in the series. I'll tell ya, Suzuki can certainly ruin a perfectly good wildlife show but pushing his agenda.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, even Suzuki couldn't ruin it. I may be mistaken but I think the ram footage was from Cadomin.

Suzuki is a good motor. David is an idiot. Yep the north was originally grassland but when all the mammoths were killed by man it changed to the arctic. Does anyone really believe that? He can become as extinct as the mammoth as far as I'm concerned. Another CBC nut!

I don't watch the Nature of Things but when that came on last night I thought I would give it a chance. Thoroughly enjoyed it, some very nice footage.

I enjoyed the wildlife footage,

the continuous biased rantings of David Suzuki almost made me puke, as usual

Great footage, although the upcoming show with long segments of stampeding pronghorn antelope with their tongues hanging out kind of looks like they're being harassed by a helicopter. I'll have to watch it closely.

Also, I've never heard of a parasite found in salmon flesh that can kill wolves (as claimed in this past show), but apparently not harm bears, birds, or people. Apparently that's why packs of wolves can kill 200 salmon in a few hours and only eat their heads - returning later for the skin & bones. Does anyone else know anything about that, or is that just St Suzuki gibber?
