Default bulls

we had at least three bulls on our cameras regularly and never saw a track come opening.
usually the game is pushed onto the base during regular season and then back to the farmlands during the camp hunt.
this is going to make the regular season interesting next year with less cull off the base. i'm sure they'll hit the farmlands before next season but will be interesting to see what kind of numbers.

Shed Crazy is telling the truth. I went to range control today to ask questions about it because that was bothering me. Indeed, some first nations hunters show up on base to go hunting but range control didn't give them access.

So I take back what I said and I apologize to people that I could have offended. I'm glad that the rules apply to everyone.

I sure hope there is a hunt. I got drawn this year and never really knew what to expect till I got drawn. Was hoping to experience something new. Maybe I’ll get drawn next year.

I was kind of PO’d when they cancelled the hunt.

I pulled this tag and since it was 2 deer I didn’t put it for any other draws. I could’ve done either my moose, antlered mulie, or antlerless mulie. Now I have to decide to go on the base next year or do the moose and other deer draws.

It will be an interesting draw.
Maybe a bunch of high priority holders will put in, and many of the people who were originally drawn for this year will be shut out.

Sucks for them.
They took the time off of work, and made the trip down for nothing...

Perhaps they just assumed that they would be allowed on the base, and never called ahead to confirm? If that is the case, they have nobody to blame but themselves.

The hunt was cancelled. For everyone. Isn't it great when politics doesn't factor into a decision. The Army isn't going to blink. If they knew the hunt was cancelled, if they took time off work and still expected to hunt, then they need some kind of reality check adjustment.
