I lived in an Sea Can on Cypress Mtn for 10 weeks during the Olympics in 2010. Air mattress and a camping chair. Butane tabletop stove.

The memories will last me a lifetime

A buddy built a small house 8 x12 ' with a loft for sleeping . It's on an island off the west coast of BC . No power or plumbing but it's warm and can sit 4 people at the table for a meal or play cards . I spent some time there one winter , it teaches you we don't need much to live comfortably . Easy to heat with the small woodstove , rain barrel for water .

20 years and two teenage boys later it is still plenty big enough.
Kinda like us, 820 sq. ft. with a full basement. 3 beds, one bath. We have 3 grandkids and their parents over a lot and it`s plenty big for us. Mancave downstairs with a laundry room and storage. Carport and garage. I love it, we spent a fair amount on reno but the mortgage is paid and we have a HUGE yard with big trees and a garden and flower beds.
