I've spent a lot of time in and around the eastern end of that zone and it's pretty rare I see any. The odd one I have seen were in farmers fields.

Very, very rare to see one. 346 gets hunted hard in the fall and also all year long, so a mulie that stands still won't last.

In the bush they tend to live within small islands of habitat, so if you find one take note of where it is and where it's going, there are probably others around. Ex: There is a certain ridge in a neighboring zone that tends to hold them, total area is probably 3 sq km. If you don't land on that exact spot, you could hike/drive 50 miles in any direction and never see a mule deer.

We have property at long lake since 2013. In all our travels maybe seen 6 mulies. Mostly hunt north in the crown land. Gotten our elk and moose so far but my daughter drew a mule buck tags this year.

Trapline in middle of 346. I have not seen a mule deer in last 4 years, a few whitetails. Zone is hunted heavy 24/7 and only around 1000+ hunters apply for tags. It was a excellent zone for everything in 60's to 90's. Now I wish you lotsa luck! you will need it.

They are in there not like they used to be parents acreage and around there have pockets some decent 150-170" mule deer north of them used to be tons of deer over 180 but shooting of all the young ones hurt the herds around
