Default Good Gunsmith Experience, Alberta

I took my .375 H&H CZ into Don's Gunsmithing just north of Rocky Mountain House for a barrel shortening. The job was more complicated than originally anticipated and involved lathe work and reblueing. The turnaround time was not long and i am very happy with the job done. The original front sight with barrel band was re-installed flawlessly to my eye and the blueing is deep and rich. The cost was very reasonable. Don tells me he does checkering as well and i am anticipating having this redone in the winter. Thanks - wanted to give credit where i feel credit is due!

For metal work rick at Alberta Tactical in Calgary does very good work.

For Wood etc Hillbilly arms is pretty good.

I second this. Bob does good work with a reasonable turnaround (exactly when he said it would be ready).

I expect that Don's reputation is rebounding somewhat after a certain helper of his left a few years ago.
