How much is a Browning B2000 Trap gun in great condition with a 32" barrel and a hard case worth?

I've had a couple of them over the years but field guns, not trap guns. Real nice guns but not as tolerant of dirt or lack of cleaning like most more modern semi's.
If it's really nice and has nice wood then they are in the $650 to $750 range. The case may or may not add value to the gun depending on what it is and the condition it's in.

Default not much history of jamming

I think even Bob's estimate is high since they dont have a very good reputation and are considered undesirable by many in the know. Example at this last Chillawack gun show in March an alberta regular took one on trade with a spare 26 inch Improved cylinder barrel and couldnt get $500 for it even including the original used but not abused 28 inch full choke barrel. He may still have it for sale.

The caveat was "if it has nice wood", and most don't.
I sold a very nice field model with two barrels (2 3/4 in choked mod and a 3 inch choked full) for $700 a few years ago, but they haven't gone up in value since. Trap guns are a bit harder to find and ones with nice wood even harder!
They're a well built gun but don't tolerate getting dirty very well.

Still haven't described the condition to adequately evaluate this firearm fairly.

Looking for a different answer than that on Gunnutz ? Nobody is beating down the doors to acquire one of these.

I think your pretty close to where you need to be, the market will soon tell you for certain though.
This is an inexpensive way for a newbie to get started in the sport.
