Question Coyote Boards

Hi there I'm just curious as to what everyone uses for making their stretcher boards or if it is cheaper just to keep buying them.

I used to build my own. It gave me more control over quality and function.

I invented a real hinge I made myself from wood, far better then the tie and it didn't take a big investment or a lot of time to build the hinges and boards.

I could do it better, faster and cheaper these days because I now own far better wood working tools and have the resources to buy more if I need to.

Back then I had to make do with what I could afford on a very limited budget.
I was married to a woman who could outspend the best in the world.

I've been thinking about finishing a few boards I have laying around, half finished from back then, and including them in my portfolio at the gun shows.

They wouldn't make a lot but they might keep life at the shows a bit more interesting.

Default Stretchers

Guy selling them on kijiji. Very reasonable, can't build them for what he's asking. Red deer area..
