Default Shaw Point?? Slave Lake

Shaw Point??? anyone been out there?? im just look for some info on how the boat launch is? And how was the fishing?? Thanks

Last time out there you will find that after the post spawn migration you will be hard pressed to catch a legal fish as the locals fish it every day (50 plus boats in the same spot for the last 50 years with yellow jigs). Lots of fish just small. Move to east and fish the flats 25 to 35 ft with bottom bouncers and crank baits, you will be surprised.

I was told yesterday by a friend that has a lot there that the marina has 4-4.5 ft water depth and when you get past the marina entrance headed into the lake it goes up to about 3ft.

I spent the weekend at our lot on the east. The lake and Slave river are at the lowest level i have seen in quite a few years. Launch on the river is still ok tho.
