Also with increased wages the meal very conceivably will increase in price. So lets say you went and had a $50 meal for convenience sake. So before all of this the wait-staff was making less than minimum wage and should receive a $10 tip.

Now lets say prices in the restaurant go up 20% because of labour cost increases. I'm using 20% to use nice round numbers. You can figure it out to whatever percent you feel is correct. So the $50 meal is now $60. Now the wait staff is making over $5 per hour more than the previous example and I am expected to leave a $12 tip. For the exact same meal. Why? How about we tip only 10% now?

I also have another question. Do you guys tip your 20% on the price of your bill pre, or post GST? When you use the % tip function on the interact machine does it calculate pre, or post GST?

Again, if it bothers you so much...don't do it.
I doubt a server or hair stylist has ever thrown you to the ground and forced you to tip.
God...if you're cheap, you're cheap...own it and move on.

I try to limit myself to not going out to avoid this very thing, because it does bother me.

No, a barber or server have not forced me to tip. However, I have had a confrontation with a waiter who got no tip because of an extremely bad experience.

Cheap has nothing to do with anything. How cheap am I? You seem to know what you're talking about.

In all of your responses you have done nothing more than beak-off. How about you answer any of the 15 questions I have posed? Come on then. Let's have a discussion here. Answer any or all of the logical questions I have asked. Just because you have bought into the scam of tipping doesn't mean you're right.

God.... you are intellectually stunted, you're intellectually stunted....... own it and move on.
