How's the mule deer hunting in 506.

depends where you hunt and how many days you put in

There are some pockets of Muleys here, but without first knowing where these pockets are and having permission secured I wouldn't bother. There are much better zones with higher numbers and easier permission.

I'd be picking a different area to hunt, partner. Mulies are not very bountiful here.

The same holds true for 501, 502, 503, 504, and 514, I can't speak for 500.

501 and 502 HAD decent populations 30+ years ago but due to increased population = more pressure and traffic, unrestricted hunting (FN and "entitled" non FN locals) and predation the population is maybe 10% of what it once was.

The west side of 502 holds the most, but still nothing to write home about.
