Default Power-Pole Anchor System

For those that don't know power-pole makes an anchoring system for shallow water. They are mainly used by bass guys and saltwater flats guys but some might have an interest up here. They make a few different models that can anchor in as deep as 10 fow and also make a kayak version as well.

More details on their website.

If anyone has interest in purchasing a power pole system let me know because I just won a $250 USD gift card in a fishing tournament and will be looking to sell it for a good deal.

I like the idea - don't like the price of the units or the amount of room they take up on the back of the boat. They would be pretty convenient when you want to stay in place in shallow water without using the spot lock feature on your trolling motor.

Lot's of guys have been using these for years - and some of the larger boats have two of them mounted - pretty cool idea.

Yeah they are a pretty cool system for the right situation.

For example when I was fishing down in Florida I was always in 6 fow or less and one of these would have been amazing to have.

Up here I only anchor in 8 fow or less in rare situations so I can't justify the purchase myself.

The drift paddle equipped version would be a pretty convenient addition to a walleye boat, but for the cost it becomes a nice to have option.
