My buddies and I hit the coast for a meat trip and had some good success despite some less than perfect conditions. She was blowing pretty good out there but we perservered and caught a nice mix for the freezer. Bought some fresh live spot prawns off a commercial boat at the dock. Delicious with that nice little winter spring bbq'd for supper that evening. Just fried up some of the Pacific Ling Cod for supper and it was fantastic with fried potatoes, grilled asparagus fresh bread and a cold beer! Was a lot of fun catching them and the table fare is awesome! The big Ling was 30 lbs.
