As of Friday, May 20 Stafford Lake Park is open to the public for recreational day use.

Beginning Friday, May 20, 2016, Stafford Lake Park will open to the public for recreational day use. Located in Lethbridge County, less than 30 minutes from Lethbridge or Coaldale, the park is a haven for sun, sand and water worshippers with access to the beach, picnic area, docks and boat launch. Golfing is also available at nearby Indian Hills Golf Club. With the on-site purchase of a daily pass, boaters can launch their boat and park on site and families can enjoy the beach and picnic areas. Users are asked to stay within the designated parking areas and to not park on the road. The Park is located at the end of Twp Rd 9-2, off Highway 512. Initial hours of operation will be 10:00 am to 8:00 p.m. daily. - Lethbridge County
