You have no idea buddy. One 4X4 tent will grow between 1 and 1 1/2 lbs in 3-4 months that will easily pay for the tent and keep you from paying for way overpriced weed from a store. And do that 3 times a year and you have more than enough.

Anybody thinking of growing your own, i highly encourage and recommend it.

It's not as hard as you might think and it's SOOOO much fun to do, it's a great little hobby.

This is a great place to start & a must read for anyone considering it

Grow your own, ya that's it. Might as well sit out front and watch the grass grow (pun intended) and when you have to let it dry watch the leaves fall off the trees (Dog was fairly entertained and made me laugh )

Cannimed only services medical use, they have lots, but you need a prescription.

3 to 4 1/2 lbs of weed a year????

I googled it...... 900 half gram joints from a pound.

That's 2700 to 4050 half gram joints. That is almost 10 a day.

You're likely right, that is more than enough.

I’ve tried cannimed. Let’s just say the product smells off. It smells like chemicals. I’ll continue ordering from Tilray. Top notch.

I've always wanted to try Rex but at $15/g I'm going to have to wait until my health spending account replenishes in January . I'd like to try Zula as well.

I hear you. Except that it was stated that the kid was only going to grow 4 plants.

We both appreciate what a waste that is.

Haven't tried growing pot plants in 30 plus years but I think I'm going to try now that it's legal ,where would someone get seeds to start.

With my medical grow licence i am permitted to grow 21 plants at a time this includes all sizes from seedling, clones to full size plants as long as there are not more than 21 on the premises at one time. But that is way to many for me to handle not to mention the tent space needed for that many.

I’m curious as to what the home insurance company says about any pot growing. Are policies written differently now?

In the past any pot plants in a home would void insurance.

I was surprised to see a Calgary Co-op electronic billboard lit up noting they have cannabis, I didn't see that one coming.

Ya, that’s my only complaint. Find something you like and you might not see that specific type again for a month or two

Ok, space buckets bring a whole new meaning to “you’d better get a bucket”. Well off to Home depot 😊

The key is Autoflowering. Alberta’s climate will get a non auto flowering, but the frost season comes too soon to develop any buds with depth. There’s s good side to this though. That outdoor plant that has started flowering makes excellent clone stock for your winter indoor grow. Root the strongest clippings and enjoy growing some extra dense indoor veg.

You could grow a tent full of vegetables and tomatoes indoors and there would be no problems so why would weed be any different as long as you don't bypass electric meter. Lights are just as safe as any lamp in your house especially if using LED lights to grow. Dehumidifier gets rid off all moisture.

CSA rating of your equipment will make the difference.
