Justbyfaith won't even respond to my pm's. All I want to know is where this sits and if we are still waiting for people. Kinda wondering if we got ripped on this swap? It would just be nice to hear something.

Has this sort of delay ever been seen on the AO forum before? This is only my second fly swap as they tend fill up really quickly. The first one was a wonderful experience. I tied a pattern suggested by another member because of it's difficulty, turned out to be a go to pattern for me. (#14 evil weavel). Seriously though, it is really effective.

He was working in Saskatchewan earlier, maybe he's out and about and just about to come back?? I'm trying to be positive!
But it would be great to get these before the season is in full swing...

I guess he is waiting for one more person, but he is going to assume they aren't coming so he's sending them out on Monday.

Cal guy..

Ya' it's the Don Andersen mentioned in Barry's book.
I occasionally tie flies. Barry witnessed the birth of the CFF.

Regards,

Don

I can remember preparing for an eight week construction project and frantically tying flies to meet the deadline for this swap. That project went long, but is complete now.

No chit!!
I actually hand delivered my flies cuz I was a cpl days late, met Justin, shoot the shiz for an hour.....guess I had lotsa time to get them there instead of burning $20 gas?

Ironically,he asked me if I wanted to take my flies then, but there was still 2 or 3(?) latecomers so I said I'd wait, wouldn't be fishing dries for a cpl months yet anyhow.....pffffft.

This is BS!!

He Fellas,
My apologies about the swap. I won't go into too many details, but the project did get top shelved for quite a while. It was a rough few months for me. I wanted to formally apologize for any frustrations you may have had. Thanks for your understanding.

Grinr- for the record, you offered to drive out rather than me asking you to come. If you want to tarnish my reputation by lying that's unacceptable.

Huh??
Excuse me,but please do tell,WTF did I lie about??

I drove my flies out because they were 2-3 days late and I don't want be "that guy" that everybody is waiting for, because I am a responsible swapper.
Wutever......Newsflash for ya pal,you don't need my help in tarnishing your reputation.....when the swap host is 4 months late mailing postage paid flies back, sorry, but THATis unacceptable.

Love ya grinr. Most of the swappers on the forum have been very understanding, and I would appreciate if you did the same. You're passion for fishing and giving a sh*t is fantastic. You ever thought about doing some conservation work?
