Default fall shooting

What a wonderful time of year. My daughter and I spent the evening obliterating cucumbers and apples. We took out a few different rifles, loaded the wagon with cucumbers, and let loose. Nothing better than watching her have fun blowing things up. Soon the melons should be ready!

No shortage of apple targets this year. Fall shooting is my favorite. Mornings are cool with little wind.

A few years ago we had friends down for a visit, and I asked their girls if they wanted to join us to do some shooting. First off the said no, but after they saw what we were shooting, it didn't take long for them to join in the slaughter of all kinds of garden produce. Needless to say that we went through a lot of ammo that afternoon. Definitely more fun than paper. We collect our 2L bottles and milk jugs, fill them with water, and tear them apart during the summer months (from the above post of doing it in winter, we are going to try that).

Pumpkin shooters would it be more spectacular if one filled the pumpkins with water before shooting ? That is if you are using hi-power rifles
