fished the Brooks area today, 1 inch of ice along shore, and some open areas, and 21 inches once you got out a bit. still pretty freaky watching the water slosh up on shore when you walk. was on a different lake earlier this week and drove on, no issues other than the palpitations all the way out. check your ice for yourself, watch the snow cover, and be safe not sorry.

Had a great day fishing on Laurier today. Only caught Perch but had a couple hits on the tipups. Nearly 4 feet of ice. We were almost to having the auger motor on the ice to get through. Gotta get an extension!
