Good buy. Have you ordered through them before? How’s quality?

The fellow that started this grew up locally on a farm. I have hunted on his Dad's land for years. Hungry Herd has only been in operation for a few weeks so far and I believe the company will do well.

I trust his products completely. He strives for good quality. Alberta locally raised and butchered meats.

I ordered from them the first time Red posted the link, then it was taken down for a bit.
Service was phenomenal. Packaging was excellent also.
I ordered 2kg of chicken breasts, 2kg of chicken drum/thighs, and 4kgs of boneless Ribeyes.

The chicken is very good. The beef on the other hand...not so much. It was tender, no doubt, but the flavour was really off. I've never done it before, but the only way I can describe it is it would be equal to licking a piece of mild steel plate.
I didn't want to comment until I tried a couple different packs cooked a few different ways, but I've cooked half now and it's all the same. It just has a very off-putting steel/iron taste.
Another lesser complaint is the cut. It would be nice for a thicker option. Less steaks per 2kg, but thicker. Mine were all about 3/4" thick uncooked and I usually aim for 1-1/4".
Anyway, just a suggestion if you want to pass it on to him, Red.
Everything else about the experience was top notch.
Thanks for posting the link.

Thank you for the heads up... and keeping me broke!!!

But on the bright side, I mentioned to the better half that she wont have to "pay" for groceries for a few weeks and she seemed super happy about that.

Get a Wal-mart online ordering account.

I got 1 in February.

Have used it 1 time, spent $157.00

I just got an email from them, $60 free gift, used as $15 off the next 4 orders. You only have to spend $60 to get it picked free.

Nothing to click, checked for scam, copy and paste into my walmart account, and yes there it is $60 off.

How can you complain about that? Dont even have to see a Walmartian, everything brought right to my vehicle.

On the princess auto website it is still full price. What store was that deal or where did you see them advertised for that price?
