Gotta love puppies. She's looking good. She'll be big enough to start going along for upland this fall.

Default Looking for an English Setter breeder

We lost our English Setter unexpectedly this summer. He was the best dog and we miss him deeply. October just seems so empty without him.

If anyone knows of any Alberta (or nearby) English Setter breeders please let me know.

Great to see some happy dogs doing some work!

Please keep posting; some of us cannot get out much this year 😫💦

I'm not showing my dogs though... they think that the season is only open one day every two weeks this year (I may have given them the impression that it's the NDP's fault... but they bought it!).

Awesome pictures everyone! It's my first year really getting into upland hunting, but here is a picture of me and my 2 year old Lab with a couple of Sharptail Grouse we flushed in 306 thanksgiving weekend.

Did you find a dog? If not I know of a couple good litters happening just the other side of the boarder as well as a broke Derby age bitch.

Here's my Vizsla "Remy" with this very first Disco Chicken. About 7 months old at the time. Looking forward to getting him trained up this off season so his skill set becomes comparable to his ego.

Between myself, and a few other forum members, we shot 72 pheasants and a few sharptailed grouse over him. He still needs some work, but I am very pleased with him so far. That little pup has grown up though, I haven't weighed him recently, but he was 75lbs at 10 months.

This was from back in early September. I am terrible for taking pictures, but we have a photographer in our club by the name of Sandra Schindal , that takes pictures during our events.

Default New pup

We finally got a new pup, this is Kingston. He`s a 7 week old English Setter from Montana, and with luck and training, my new best hunting buddy.
