Default Blazer Vanes For Recurve ??

Shooting Fusion II 2.1" vanes on 480 and 500 spine from a Hoyt HPX with medium limbs. I'm using the Spot Hogg Edge rest which allows me ample vane clearance. The Blazers are about a 1/4" shorter but 3/16" taller and stiffer.
I'm also using a 75 gr insert with 150 grain point which is amazing considering I'm shooting without sights.

Wondering if anyone is using or has compared Blazers on their arrows off a recurve.

Default Shooting off a rest

The vanes won't allow the arrow to get of the riser cleanly. Shooting off a bigger rest or to get away from the riser. I would try it our with a vaned arrow before I glued up a dozen.
