Default DIY Salmon Fishing on the Coast

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47qy...ature=youtu.be

I know that summer is coming and guys have been thinking of where to go on the coast this summer. I found an edited un-posted video today from an amazing day out at Ucluelet Last August. I posted the link above. This is out on the Banks about 4 to 6 miles off shore. Ucluelet is a beautiful town with some excellent restaurants and some great fishing right near the dock. Protected waters and banks fishing for salmon and halibut just offshore. The rockfish and lingcod fishing can be really good as well close to shore.

Great pics and nice video! Thanks for sharing.

Wow that's a tight deck though, cramped.

great catch man, i have only fished the west coast once and really want to do it more but first time out there just seeing how big the regulation mag/book was scared me lol. just trying to figure it out made my head spin and worry about missing some small detail that would have bad results.

Looks like good fishing on the coast, great haul Brandon!

We as well DIY on the coast, keep our boat in Nanaimo. It's cheaper to buy out there, and keep it out there - than it is to keep hauling it back and forth; across the ferry twice no less.

Looks like you guys had ideal conditions out there off Ukee. It's not that often you get small swells, no fog, no rain, and summer like conditions out there - then to top it off - great fishing

Thanks for posting, just noticed you have nearly 9k subscribers now; well done!

I was going to take my ski boat out there, remember the old 1989 Arriva 20.5' I used at Cold Lake downrigging?
