That dark one was a struggle to skin and more of a struggle to flesh.
Old dog with very thick skin and thick woolly fur.
Probably not worth much, should have tanned it.
The damn green hide weighed 8 lbs.
Hope I don't get any more like that.

Nice haul, well done! What area of the province are you trapping them in?

I'm surprised that I'm getting mainly pale coloured coyotes just north of Edmonton.

Around Hardisty.
I used to see quite a few nice pale ones here years ago.
Pretty rare now.
