Exactly they can't print regulations then fine you for following them. Any fines would get thrown out.

Yeah we run the flags just to be more visible out there especially when you get caught in waves that can actually make you and your kayak disappear from the view of other boaters.

A few years ago I was coming back in with our boat, rain, wind, good size waves and thought I saw something 100 yards out front of us and it was a lone kayaker heading back in and man he was hard to see at times due to the waves.

when we parked at the provincial park boat trailer Parking lot a guy had a hole drilled in his gas tank and gas running all over the parking lot.
is this a commen place for people to steal gas and break into units.

Almost a daily occurance, I got hit with a dozen other vehicles last time I was there.

It happened right beside our RV, we parked there before anyone else and this truck parked beside us later on. The gas thieves must have thought our rig gave them cover from honest eyes. Some one must have spooked them or the *******es forgot to bring a pail because there was a lake of gasoline in the parking lot. Luckily the fumes from our burners did not spark a flame. RCMP officer said it is common there and in his hometown of Red Deer and there ain't much they can do about it. So don't park near an RV if you can help it, make the varmints work for their free gas.

Are they taking gas at night ,or during the day also .

I think the only way to stop it ,is to have a couple camping stalls near the parking lot so eyes are always on it .

this has turned into a very regular problem at the PP it seems. Sad. A few quiet sits in the parking lot need to be in order as our justice system isnt doing a thing about it.

And what? Even if they are caught in the act, they will be out in less than 30minutes! You know- tough upbringing, run out of gas to sniff, first offender, minor, etc etc etc….

Getting better but best to recce it out to see if it’s deep enough for your rig.

I see big boats going in and out from that area.

Neighbour has a 17 foot fish and ski had no issues.

Launched my 19’ Lund there last week no problem. Still sandy at the end of the concrete but didn’t have any issues.

The new regs are out
We now can follow the Alberta regs and take a Laker 65-70 home

Well the lakers are still hitting hard.
Was out yesterday and found that many had moved out and are suspended in deeper water just off of good structure. Caught many in 170fow as we made passes back towards bait balls that were in tight mid shelf.
Buddy had an apex trolling lure 5 of diamonds which was the ticket color wise.
Brown trout color was a good alternative too.
Dead calm and hot, hot, hot!

Luv jet noise, sound of freedom, need low level and break the sound barrier over the lake to really appreciate it…..maybe some hot shot can give it a go then get a posting flying a desk for a year….ohhh soooo worth it!

Well we found the color pattern they wanted today, apex trolling lure 5 of diamonds was the ticket.

We marked lots and after multiple passes just a small change and turned a day of fishing into catching.

Multiple double headers and maybe 10 minutes max between hook ups.

Largest was 32 inches the rest were all 20-28 inches but lots and lots so not complaining.

Hmmm

Skin fat is one thing but blubber is another thing.

To each tier own.

Trim it off and use it for walleye or ice fishing for lakers.

They eat thier own and are gluttons .
