Default Blemish bullets

Any idea what blemished bullets means? I just ordered 2 boxes, (100 rounds) of 165gr accubonds for my 308. Haven’t seen them for ever in a store and honestly, at 29$/box I couldn’t pass it up. I never shoot past 400-500 and that is only on the range so if nothing else I suppose I can just use them for trigger time!

Usually means they are stained instead of being nice shiny copper coloured. At least the ones I’ve bought. Didn’t make in difference in performance.

I have bought them in the past either discolored, or tips not perfect.

As long as they’re minute of elk I don’t care! Last elk I shot was at 24 yards… bullet didn’t even slow down after it punched through both sides!

Default Blemished

Just not quite as pretty as normal.

Look them over and toss any seriously deformed tips.

I have bought them before, no issues.
