If you like it that's what counts ,everyone likes there own choice specially in a rifle .

7MM RM is a great cartridge and many will disagree on that, but it's your choice and I hope you get many good years out of it .

Ps does it have the set trigger? I think alot of Bavarians do. Lets us know what you think of it.

To determine if it does, when unloaded cock the rifle, then try and flick the trigger forward. Then if unloaded gently pull the trigger and you will be a very happy man if you like light trigger pulls.

Please disregard, i see that you bought the adventure. I have never handled one so I have no idea if it has the set trigger.
