Public land question
I have a county map that displays numerous quarters leased by energy and natural resources, but most of this land isn't listed on the ihunterapp app. I'm simply looking at more spots to stop for coyotes, can someone explain this better? I've tried googling but I'm not coming up with much.

From what I understand, a grazing permit is otherwise known as a grazing licence and means no contact. Grazing lease means contact.

Grazing lease
Grazing lease or agriculture lease are the same, it is lease by a rancher or farmer for a purpose.
There is a Alberta Gov has a website for that purpose.
Some lease has no contact and others shows the leaser's contact number.

I heard that iHunter took down its "crown land" listings this fall due to some inaccuracy problems. So I think land that would be considered crown is now without a label.
Has anyone else heard/can confirm this?

Sorry, to clarify I have ihunterapp AB. Some of these quarters are still on the app, but numerous are not, even though they are very close to the others. That is the confusing part.

Yeah, we were using iHunterAB as well. I think on opening weekend it had chunks in green labeled crown, but when we went back two weeks later, all the crown listings were now blank.
I heard it was because the crown listings weren't very accurate (we definitely saw a fenced and signed quarter that was labeled crown) and people were trespassing following the app only.

Still doesn't explain why some chunks of crown leased by ener and nat resources show on app and some don't......yet they are all on county map.

Don't trust an app....it is not 100% correct.
