Default RCMP website

Went to do a Pal confirmation this morning and can’t seem to get on the rcmp website , just get the 404 error. Is this a thing where they close the site on weekends or is this another issue. Curious if any here have some insight .

CGN has reports of the portal being down as well.
Typical government bungling or incompetence……… again!

They could resolve the issues with the licensing system if they wanted to, but they obviously don't want to.

Default Canadian Firearms Centre site seems to be working fine.

I assume it is the Canadian Firearms Centre site you are referring to.
I just logged in and no issues.

D.O.T. site has been down for about Three weeks now. Lot of big rigs, school busses, etc. Unable to get there stickers and proper paper work.

With all of the big IT security incidents lately, I'm guessing there's a pile of work being done on the infrastructure side to review if there have been any undetected (latent) breaches.

Lots of companies are doing some pretty heavy-duty review of their electronic security posture at the moment. A lot of web pages will break while the security is being remediated.
