Pheasant Release at Daysland Today - Go Get Em Boys
Hey guys. An AO member let me know he ran into the bird truck at Daysland this morning. He was looking for a melanistic rooster, and passed on 19 regular birds in the process. So, there are definitely birds there today.
ACA took delivery of a bunch of melanistics on Friday. Beautiful birds. I’d imagine most will be released this week.

The pack was arriving at noon. as I left, a good time not to be there. I never went near the release area myself, but a guy that was just running his dogs cleaned it out pretty good, so the birds should be well scattered. This was the last release of the year for the northern sites, and I didn't expect it, as the final date listed on the ACA site was yesterday..
