Tough weather... but better to have snow and cold with access than what has been experienced the past few years with extremely limited access due to the dry conditions. Luckily us hunters are tough!

Good luck all!

Wind is expected down south.

Cold is good, you don't have to worry about your meat and hide like you do when it's +20 in October.

Snow is good. Makes the ranchers more at ease letting people on the land as opposed to when the whole place is a giant tinder box.

Nice work!
Those photos are really tough to tell. Would be good to see side profile with ears for scale

If anyone knows of a successful trophy antelope hunter, that is not interested in keeping their cape. I am currently in search of a cape for a shoulder mount. Thanks

Today was brutal. Slowest day since we started Monday for sure. 50 goats at most today. One really big with a stalk blown because the blizzard got too bad lol
One decent mid 70’s and some dink’s that got only a quick glance.
From last time I was here the numbers are way down, but still nice seeing the different landscape again.
Snows supposed to stop around midnight, hopefully tomorrow is productive !

Hope you get a good one! Hoping to see you bag a deep cuttered, super thick goat!

Thanks. My old outfitting partner has the draw so me and the boy came down to help him find a good one.

I should have drawn, but the odds where not “ever in my favour” this year lol

Loving the goat pics - sitting at a 9p and getting excited to get after them here in AB!

Keep them coming with stories please!

Left 102 yesterday morning for home. Neighbour and I both filled our first antelope tags. Was a fun hunt. Made it as far as brooks. Just sitting in a hotel waiting for the turbo to be replaced in my truck. At least it didn’t happen in the middle of our hunt.

First one 73” second one 69 7/8

Default Antelope

My son in law shot this opening morning with the help of a good buddy of his. Not bad for his first speed goat.

Love the gnarly knobs and the way they hook together at the top!

I told you he was bigger than he looked. He grew lots from April until you shot him. This crazy Loper would always hang around us when we were shooting gophers. Here he is at the end of April.

I might have one or be able to hook you up with one. The old man and I both tagged one in archery season.
