Default recent rainbow fishing

So my wife and the dog and I went to a lake to camp and fish for rainbows a few weekends ago and had a great trip. Weather was fantastic and fishing was great. My wife had never caught a rainbow bigger than about 2 lbs so she was pretty happy she came along this time. No 10 plus pounders this trip (the lake has lots this size) but it was still fun. Anyhow, I enjoy looking at others pictures so I thought I would post some as well so enjoy! Sorry about the dead fish - we were camping and I like to eat trout on those trips.

Also, was out last night and hammered a nice one as well.

Thought it had the classic dief look , and at least you can go shirtless without scaring the fish.

Nice work. Those are a little bigger than the ones in Beaver Mines.

Awesome fish. And damn that looks tasty. Are those extra cuts in the fillets to get all the bones out? I have never filleted a rainbow and was just curious.

I dont mind at all. I was using mostly large streamers, particularly supervisors. We were also using large 5 inch minnows on a spinning rig I tie up. large silver spinner and 6 red beads.
