you can catch some big trout off the ends of the rock breakwaters theres usually one or two hanging around the end of each. try under the footbridge at the upstream end of the park too

I'm planning on heading down to the Bow sometime this week and am curious as to what you guys are using or recommend for lures/spinners. I've just started fishing again after a long hiatus am quite rusty. Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks!

floated Saturday, the bow is good but not great, lots of silt running under the boat, sounds like sand , the two of use hooked on to 15/18 fish most good size, floated from Police to carseland, the boat launch at carseland has issues , very sandy, had to lift the boat onto the trailer and use 4 x4 as we were spinning in the sand
having carseland open is awesome , hopefully takes pressure off of 22x to mack

The bow was alright this evening but nothing to write home about, there were a lot of flies around(from what I could tell both stonefly and caddis) and for some reason the fish weren't rising a whole lot, still managed a "13" brown and a "16" rainbow in a couple hours but was dissapointed that they weren't rising more, tougher to catch them on the dry flies when any particular fish isn't rising consistantly.

Just wondering, how many rafters have you guys hooked into this year?

I was heading down there the other day by 22X. Got to the parking lot and all I heard was screaming and yelling. Glanced over the bushes. Figures, about 15 rafters all drinking. Got back in my car and F'd off. Can't stand trying to fish with those freaks hanging around.
