Default 2010 Recap

So im sitting here day dreaming about hunting so i figured id recap mine and my buddies (bowzonebucks) 2010 hunting season.

Here are some pics of the animals we harvested.

Bowzones bear shot in the spring with a bow.
My bear shot in the fall with a .243.

We both managed to take some beauty mule deer on our annual trip as well.

Mine was shot on friday at 40 yards.
Bowzones on saturday at 60 yards.

Then came the elk rut where bowzone harvested a beauty after cow calling and using the montana decoy.

My bull was also shot by cow calling, both the day after opening day.

Bowzone drew the antelope draw and took this great buck same weekend i shot my first bull moose with a bow.

And then finally came the deer rut. Due to a very crazy work schedule (working for dad who is a none hunter) I wasnt able to sneak away to hunt like my good friend who is a student. We did manage to get some great bucks. First one was from the strathcona bow zone, second was shot right near my house on some grazing pasture then mine was shot just west of edmonton on a minus 30 morning and finally the last buck was a beauty saskatchwan white tail.

Good job! Lots of meat for the freezer too. It'll be hard to top that season.
