Default Second Bow River fish of the year (photo) Share your photos!

Hello all

Here is my second bow River fish of the year caught on Saturday! It seemed to have an injury near the gill from before The first one was also a RMW. I'm still after the elusive brown trout!

Please share your catches everyone!

Well, with a name like "WhitefishLady", I don't know what you were expecting....

I suggest changing your name to BrownTroutGal right quick, before it becomes permanent!

Nice RMW. I do not mind catching whitefish at all; they have saved me from many a fishless day.

touche Pudelpointer!

I like to catch them too! In fact I think they are underappreciated. They actually are quite a pretty fish. The brown trout is on the bucket list.

nice fish, personally i don't mind catching white fish too, the only bad thing is the smell that come from them is much more fishy than compared to rainbows or browns. so i prefer to not touch them and just use my pliers to remove the hook while in my net

Nice fish, keep trying that brown will come. Especially this time of year when rainbows are spawning, I find I catch way more browns.

I myself am still seeking the Big Bad Brownie...first year Fly fishing been out 4 times caught 2 whites, one each on the last two times out. Had a really nice fish on last time out but did not see it before my trailing fly broke off. Next time I will take pics.

Cheers all....tight lines
