Default Edmonton area pothole lakes open?

I was hoping to get out later this week. I am also hoping that wind on Sunday opened some lakes up. Any news?

I did a quick tour of some ponds on Sunday. Salter's may be fish able from the dock or east side(wear some boots) and Muir (open May 1)may be possible from shore north of the dock, but you may have to stand in line and wait your turn. Chickakoo and Sauer may have a very small open patches by the beaver lodges but probably not worth it.

Default Winterkill

Salters, Chickakoo, and Sauer did suffer winter kill....Probably best to wait for yearly stocking to take place

I don't think too many people will wait for restocking. We just want to get our lines wet. I'll be out somewhere this weekend casting into a more than likely empty body of water.
