This is a forum not chanel 6, I don't care about sponsors, I care about my sport. What have the sponsors done for me? Nothing, that's what! If my grandpa and his 6 brothers that fought the Natzis knew this would be their legacy, and this is what they put their head on the slab for 6 years of their lives, they'd be rolling over in their graves! All we want is flies, wss hasn't had any for 3yrs! Who cares about sponsors? Life should be simple none of this mumbo jumbo, sponsor this, timing that, this aint a reality show, it's just people looking to buy flies in Lethbridge!

hunts, the moderated resulted the situation. this is no way was a "setup to advertise". Your getting annoying with your incorrect remarks. I just simply wanted to know where I could get fly's in Lethbridge. I'm young and still learning the city.

I'm posting in this thread against my better judgement but I agree with Colin.
It sounds like there may have been a post deleted somewhere along the way but from what I can gather it's independent third parties that mentioned LFS.
While I really do appreciate some of the kind comments about my business, as a site sponsor and competitor I don't see anything posted here by the LFS proprietor that's not above board.
So, who's going fishing this weekend? Temperatures in the mid to high teens!

WOW!!! This is exactly why there are fewer Fly shops in this world. Someone gets their panties in a bunch over nothing and makes the whole shop look bad. I never knew there was a shop in Lethbridge and when I go down there I will be sure to stop by. Better than buying from a big box store and I prefer the local knowledge. With that said I support and purchase from all other local shops in my area to support them even if it means sometimes paying more I would still support them. Why all the hate? Grow up and enjoy the sport. You never know what anyone is going through in life so fight your own battles and support the sport you love & the forum you love.

Without the sponsors, there is a very good chance you wouldn't have this forum to post on! That is what they have done for you!
Not sure what your grandpa has to do with sponsors(my dad and uncles fought in that war) so get real. And you may have missed some posts/threads that have been removed (at least 2 threads).

There's enough rules and and laws in our society we have to abide by and, last time checked asking where a fly shop in Lethbridge was not an indictable offence. Maybe in behind your big green curtain in the wonderful world of oz it's crime(oh I better watch out cause they aint a sponsor on here either). All I want to do is help a newcomer to the sport, not turn him off of the sport. And if you ever need help or info fishcatcher I am a PM away and in Coalhurst as well. Anyway I'll be tying flies for Beauvais and, waiting for the cops to kick down my door all the crimes I committed on this forum.

One other thing hurtinfish, fishcather asked where to buy flies in Lethbridge, not CALGARY! This is where icky is from as well their website is shutdown today so, ya great advice!

Hope I get a chance to meet you guys either on the river or at my shop so I can shake your hand for acting like real flyfishermen on this forum, I completely agree its all about the fishing and I think its great that guys are supporting the local fly shops like icky fly works Im not going to bash him I think he has some great flies. I also like to think I do as well but I wont even go there so hopefully this doesnt ruffle to many panties!
