Default Red Deer River

Hey all, has anyone drove past the river near the dam is it at normal level yet or high and muddy? What would be your best bet on catching some browns there right now, rapala's? what type of fly's? spoons? Iv'e tryed fishing before there using buzzbombs and made out all right but if anyone has any info or suggestions i'd be happy to hear them. Thanks alot.
