Question keeley lake in saskatchewan

we are looking at going on a fishing trip for a few days
anyone ever been here?
heard it was a very good fishing lake
what lures to use and hotspots on the lake would be apreciated

You should do very well at Keeley....we always ice fish it and do well. You'll likely need a fish finder to locate the humps or ledges and there, you'll find what you're after.

were goin ouut in mid august so hope its still good
how big are the walleye in there and the pike
and what other spiecies are there

There's perch, but I've never fished for them....whitefish, I think.

Walleyes can be good, up to 8 lbs. and pike, 10-12.

well thats n ot to bad then eh
they told us that jig heads with leeches or worms
is it pretty clear water then too?

Jigheads with leeches or worms would be my choice. I'm also a big fan of bottom walkers for walleyes. The water should be decent.

IMO, Keeley and Canoe are both underfished because the daily limit is reduced.

A few years ago, while at Besnard, I talked to a lady who was mad because they couldn't catch a walleye small enough to keep at Keeley !! Now there's a problem !!
