That ice was formed during the snows. But there is a bit of clear ice at the bottom.

Doesn't apply to the whole buffalo. Be carefull out there it's a big lake that doesn't freeze evenly and birds keep areas open etc. When it's warm and windy this time of year she can open up and heave in the blink of an eye...

Yes this was the bay at Rochon Sands. I wouldn’t be on the main lake yet. Not very far out anyway.

Ok I didn't know I was going to start something here!! LOL! I posted a reply to the wrong thread so I tried to delete it but it wouldn't let me! It said I had to have at least one character so I put d for delete!
