Default 6.4 egr delete??

Hey guys anyone do an egr and dpf delete on a 6.4 f350, egr needs to be replaced so I was thinking of doing the delete.

Any pros and cons would be appreciated.
Dave

There are no cons,
Better fuel mileage, more power, and the truck will last longer, not to mention all the soot and exhaust gas not being recirculated back into your motor

Pros: lessen the chances of that POS 6.4L blowing itself up through much lower EGTs, better fuel mileage

Cons: None besides the grand and some initial cost

Have been pricing things out, the tuner is 950 alone, it’s an sct5051pc
The bully dog is even more, are their others, seems most tuners are getting away from the deletes and I get cost plus 10%.well from the grandwest catalog anyway. gotta be a more economical tuner?

Anyone know if it affects the warranty? I have an 18 F350 with 10K and am thinking of the same thing.

Thinking about deleting also so I’m curious about this too, I think if you have a good relationship with your dealership talk to them. I doubt it though as there are likely looking to get out of any warranty work. The diesel shop in my town said they could do a DPF delete and if there was an issue they would reinstall and reset truck computer to factory tune for 2 hrs labour.
Still undecided.

I deleted my ‘19 at the dealership I bought it from so they would warranty it. They warned me that if if I take it to a dealership in BC (Golden in particular), they will report it to Ford. Also warned me that if I blow up the tranny and diffs with the extra HP, those won’t be covered.

I took the exhaust off of mine to replace the system that was stolen off of one of our work trucks. Fuel economy went from 26L/100km to 18L/100 km.
