Lucic = 0 +/- , 5 shots on net

James "The REAL DEAL" = -3 +/- 4 shots on net

That deal is looking better by the day. Long season though.

For the record, BSD has not let in a goal this year. I 100% expect that to continue for the entire 2019/2020 season. I see nothing wrong with that bet....

BOA coming up next Saturday night. Any of you Edmonton fans want a bet?

We are over the cap by about 658,000. So we have to do something but that could just be sending someone down to the minors. Doesn't necessarily have to be a trade at this point, although I imagine we will still trade someone. Just means other GM's can no longer be looking for a discount on the trade since we no longer NEED to make a trade to sign Tkatchuk.

Yes, $700,000 seems to be manageable. Hate to be super tight against that ceiling though. BT will get it straight I am sure.

Not the SUPER fan of MT that I once was. Still a incrediably valuable piece of the team though.

Thought I'd post my prediction for opening night:

Gaudreau-Monahan-Lindholm
Tkachuk-Backlund-Frolik
Mangiapane-Ryan-Bennett
Lucic-Jankowski-Czarnik

Giordano-Brodie
Hanifin-Hamonic
Stone-Andersson

Rittich
Talbot

I think Reider and McDonald will be offered 2 way contracts, with Reider playing soon, but I don't think he'll be playing opening night.

Ummm, most of them are playing, with the exception of one or two. Haven't been watching the Oil long?

It's just preseason, but that one probably felt pretty good for Rieder. I'm convinced at some point in the season Frolik will be gone and Rieder will be in.

Eric Francis says Rieder signed a 2 way deal for the league minimum. Not bad.

Just watched Rieder's goal on Twitter, in off the far post on a nice rush. Nice goal
