Default RV mattress

Looking for a mattress for my Travel trailer. Read an old thread and lots recommended Costco memory foam mattresses. Any other recommendations? Which brand/model at Costco? Thanks in advance!

We put a Costco memory foam topper on top of the existing mattress and absolutely love it.

As I recall, Costco only had one brand, and you could pick from different thicknesses. We picked the thickest and put it on the old mattress......and slept like we were royalty.

For what we paid it was amazing value and I would do that long before buying a new mattress.

Sleep Country has at least a dozen beds that can be ordered in a RV QN.

Hi Andrew!
I have an advice for you! Never buy a memory foam mattress, if you don't want to get pain in your back and neck! We have a Bear Mattress. It's a bit firmer than we could expect, but, anyway, it's better than soft memory foam mattresses! I got a consultation from a specialist, and she told me not to buy soft mattresses anymore, because it's really harmful for the health!

Sleep Country or Mattress Mattress can get you a real rv queen. I would know I was in the marress biz for 17 years and have one in mine. You can also go foam and cut it to whatever size you like.

If you have bad shoulders and hips a softer mattress with firm support or memory foam with firm support is your best bet. Get a comfortable bed first and proper pillow will do wonders for necks. Dealt with way to many specialists that had no idea. Some would come in themselves and I would explain beds and pillows 101 and had a total change of thinking. Mist mattresses do not have a lot of memory foam other than the top layers. Always remember black foam for support and memory foam is for pressure points.

We bought a residential mattress for our 80" long queen. Bed is in the front of the trailer and we have the room. Some RV beds are only 75" long, it is so comfortable we get a great nights sleep when away from home. Some people have had success with toppers. I have tried them and they are not for me. It was a bit of a wrestling match to get it in the trailer but worth it. It also adds weight. Keep that in mind.

Replaced the cheap rv king mattress in my travel trailer with a pair of Ikea twin foam mattresses and a memory foam topper from Costco. Had to shave about an inch off one of the mattresses (couldn't tell the difference after the cover was put back on. Then trim about 2" or so off the topper. Dang what a difference - only regret was not doing it right when I bought the trailer! And a lot cheaper than the foam options from the two main custom foam shops in Edmonton.
