Default CPAP water

On vacation where I can not get distilled water for my CPAP. What to do? If I boil water will that suffice? BEL

I use bottled water even at home I find it's just as good and its $3 for 5 gallons stopped using distilled 15 years ago never had a problem.

Straight tap water will leave mineral deposits easy to remove with CLR

Straight tap water. I just use vinegar to remove scale. Leave the water out a day to let the chlorine gas off

OMG. Thanks so much guys. I thought my machine would be screwed. We thought about the vinegar trick. I can relax now. Thanks again. BEL

X 2 on the vinegar

If I'm out of distilled, I throw a cap full in, but not right into my reservoir, jus mix it with H2o and add when needed. It works for sure.

I don't use it (vinegar) with the water that I breath at night (never thought of it to be honest). I just clean the reservoir and hoses with it when they start to scale up.

I just use CLR but the process is about the same.

here is my clean cycle

1. get the rez warm and just about fill with hot water
2. pour in CLR (vinegar should work)
3. rinse and repeat if required

Hot water makes a difference it makes everything go faster.
