I am just a smelly old lure loser. Family heirloom lost to the depths.
I hang my head in shame.
I am glad you had a nice day.
Ours was ok too.

Real beauties. Congrats. Sad when the private pond owners are better fishery managers than our own biologists and fishery people that we pay for with taxes and license fees. Hope there is a few that can swallow their pride and see what alberta water can produce.

28". Thats fantastic! I also like the very nice ice fishing hut that you have set up. Congrats on a great day. I have to ask, were these fish caught in AB, and if so was it a private pond.?
Either way, congrats again on a great day.

Thanks all, I should tell you that the heavy one weighed in at 11.87 lbs and is by far my biggest rainbow trout that I have caught to date. Every fish we caught we thought we would lose due to the veracious fight they put up I thought my 25lb test was going to snap. Those fish can peel line like a pitbull on a leash. It was such a good time to be out there with my buddy.
