Default Goodbye Garry O'Caroll, rest in peace my friend.

O’Carroll Garret (Garry) August 18th,1953 Dublin Ireland- 2017 February 3rd Calgary AB.
Many of us will remember Garry as the President and Vice President of Walleye Unlimited of Alberta, active member of Mossleigh Gun Club, avid fisherman and hunter, others as a nicest and the most humble guy behind the counter in WSS Calgary.
Garry was the grates friend you could imagine, he was always there for anybody who needed him and never looked for anything in return.
He was the guy who gratuitously took beginners and less fortunate people fishing on his boat to let them try and experience the sport. He would take you shooting, gave you the gun, ammo and just look for your smile in return.
Garry you will be missed by a lot off people but you will never be forgotten!

Default RIP Sir

Condolences to Garry's family. A real gentleman who alway had time to stop and chat at wss and offer people new to the sport great advice. I remember Garry helping me find a pike lure some years back that still works great to this day. Rest in peace sir.

I had nothing but positive experiences when dealing with Garry at WSS. He was a true gentleman and understood what customer service was all about. Qualities that are becoming more rare these days unfortunately.

I ran into him not long ago at Cabelas and was surprised to see him working there. We had a good chat. Little did I know it would be our last.

RIP Garry, you were a wonderful person.

Garry had this saying "Guns are cheap...I spend x amount on gas every month just to get to work".
I'll miss my chats with Garry
